Faithfulness

Was in Church last Saturday and witnessed a faithful Children’s Church worker donning the lovable Chicken mascot. And as we all know, ‘Chicken’ and all the other adorable mascots went on to lead the congregation in a cheery time of Praise during service as well as lending their looks over to photo-taking much to the delight of the children and the adults alike at the special Family Weekend service.

So blessed by the faithfulness of our CCH workers as well as all the other ministry members of City Harvest Church; ushers, security, CHCSA workers, TIR members, City Care members, ministry members involved in the weekly running of the Church services and many more too many to be named and adequately mentioned on this platform.

Faithfulness is an attribute – weighted lighter than its actual value and inadequately compensated by the measures of this world because the world do not know God and things God value thereafter. When we put on faithfulness, we put on God’s very own persona.

“Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God..
Deuteronomy 7:9

Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Psalm 36:5

Take heart, keep doing what we’re doing even when no one is watching, because Someone is. Our reward may not come in this lifetime, our contributions may not be recognized by man, but look up, for He knows, and He is a Rewarder to those who seek Him!
When that day comes, it will be glorious.

His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Matthew 25:21
