World Cup! Yes! This is the two words that will resound in everyone’s mind in the month of July. And finally, our telcos have gotten the deal!
Me being a sama sama soccer fan, I am pretty excited myself! I thought that World Cup is a time when the different sexes could actually unite for the first time, sit on the same couch, switch on the tv, watch the SAME channel – to watch twenty people chase after one ball on one giant grass patch and unfortunately, when gamblers bet on the soccer teams hoping to win a quick buck.
To watch the world cup, you don’t need to be a football fanatic to do so, it’s like a natural instinct, aint it? Anyway, Brazil and Spain are one of the favorites for this year’s win. What’s your take? Let me hear you. 🙂
What I do know is, this 64 matches will definitely be watched by S’poreans islandwide. One thing’s for sure, expect to hear cheers, shouts, screams or even crying (betters lose money) late into the night.
